Climate Impact Adaptation Concept (2019) — Zone 2: Areas with heat exposure and average concern
Description
The climate change adaptation concept aims to adapt to the unavoidable consequences of climate change on the ground. As a result, an improvement in the adaptability and maintenance of the functioning of urban infrastructures and the urban quality of life will be achieved.
The identification of areas with a heat load and an average concern as areas with a need for action are linked to the following objectives for consideration:
— here too, the objectives of zone 1 with a slightly lower priority apply
— Use bright colors for surfaces and house facades
— Unsealing of surfaces (e.g. street banquets, middle strips, courtyards, pitches)
— Greater greening of industrial and commercial areas (roof greening, building environment)
— Support and evaporation of rainwater
