Distribution of the adehesada formations in Andalusia, publication 2015
Description
The information on distribution of adehesada formations is generated from SIOSE Andalucía 2005, cartographic base on land occupation at detail scale (1:10,000), which starts from the integration of different sources of information. This cartography is adjusted to the boundaries of the property and is updated periodically. From SIOSE Andalucía a selection of those polygons that correspond to adehesada formations is made.
Dehesed formations are those entities of the SIOSE Andalucia cartographic base whose use, coverage and type of tree species falls within the definition of dehesed formations of Law 7/2010, of July 14, for the Dehesa. A significant percentage of this layer has been reviewed and updated continuously over time and also according to different management processes, among which are the claims to SIGPAC (instrument that shows this same information) or the review of Habitats of Community Interest. The adehesada formations are classified into 4 groups: adehesada formations of quercíneas with herbaceous plants, adehesada formations of other species with herbaceous plants, adehesada formations of quercíneas with herbaceous plants and scrub and adehesada formations of other species with herbaceous plants and scrub.
