Classification of institutional sectors of economy of Ukraine (KICE)
Description
KIE is intended for classification and coding of institutional units that carry out production, distribution, redistribution, consumption and accumulation, by sectors (subsectors) of the economy of Ukraine in accordance with their purpose.
KISE provides:
accounting of enterprises and organizations by institutional sectors (subsectors) of economy in the Register of statistical units;
conducting state statistical observations of economic activity of enterprises and organizations in the institutional sectors (subsectors) of the economy;
the possibility of comparing national statistical information with international;
grouping of economic entities by institutional sectors (subsectors) in order to implement at the macro level of assessment of the results of their activities and financial status.
The set of institutional resident units in CIE is divided into five institutional sectors according to their functions, behavior and goals.
