BORIS - Soil information system of the federal states, the BML and the Umweltbundesamt GmbH

The soil information system BORIS provides harmonised soil quality data on physical, chemical and biological soil characteristics, including information on sites and soil sampling points as well as profiles. Data is available for more than 10000 locations throughout Austria.
BORIS includes, among other things, the soil condition inventories of the federal states, the Austrian forest soil condition inventory, as well as investigations with regional focus topics.
