Description
Catch data for pelagic trawls from MFRI cruise A7-2011, covering large areas of the North-West Atlantic (Irminger Sea and adjacent waters) in June and July 2011.
The dataset contains trawl data of mesopelagic fish from hauls dedicated to catching pelagic redfish with fine-meshed (22 mm in the codend) pelagic trawl. The trawl has a multisampler with three codends allowing for trawling at different depths in the same tow. All data is given as total catch biomass for all taxonomic groups (at different taxonomic resolutions, with some species identified and some organisms only identified to coarser taxonomic levels) in the catch, on a format compatible with the ICES trawl-acoustic database
