Austin Energy average rate per kilowatt hour compared to Texas average rate
Description
This data set compares the Austin Energy average rate per kilowatt hour (kWh) to the Texas average rate per kWh. In developing the Texas average rate, we eliminate all electric entities that do not serve residential customers or whose load is less than 3% residential.
This calculation is based on information provided by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) and is calendar year information. The average system rate, for both Texas and Austin Energy, is based on total electric sales revenues ($) divided by total energy (kWh sales).
This dataset supports measure EOA.C.5.a of SD23
