IQM — Morphological Quality Index
Description
The Morphological Quality Index (IQM) is a parametric method that assesses whether anthropogenic activities affect the natural evolution of a watercourse. The assessment of the morphological state is carried out considering geomorphological “functionality”, artificiality and morphological variations, which together contribute to the formation of the index.
