Water suitable for the production of water intended for human consumption
Description
The regions shall designate stretches of watercourses and lake areas which require protection or improvement in order to be suitable for the production of water intended for human consumption and shall classify them in one of the categories A1, A2, A3 referred to in Table 1/A of D.L. 152/99 as amended. The indicator shall identify the number of watercourses or lakes, the length of the sections and the extent of the designated areas which, over a period of 12 months, comply with the mandatory limits set for a selected group of chemical and physical parameters defined by the legislation.
