Arpa Piemonte - Airport noise mapping MXP - Scenario Year 2022 - FMA forecast calculation model
Description
The noise maps relating to the noise contribution made by the activities of Malpensa airport on the territory of the province of Novara near the Lombard airport affected by the take-off and landing routes are made available.In particular, the data refers to the municipalities of Cerano, Trecate, Galliate, Cameri, Bellinzago Novarese, Marano Ticino, Oleggio, Pombia, Varallo Pombia, Castelletto Ticino The time scenario used in the modelling is that relating to the year 2022. In particular, three weeks of increased traffic were considered, as defined in document SNPA 45/2023 ‘Guidelines for defining the acoustic characterisation of the airport surroundings’. In particular, the periods considered were: from 25 to 31 May 2022 with 3,365 flight operations; from 08 to 14 September 2022 with 3,621 flight operations and from 07 to 13 October 2022 with 3,527 flight operations.The noise iso-level curves that have been developed refer to the following indicators: "LVA D.M. 31/10/1997", acoustic index of the Airport Noise Assessment Level defined by DM 31/10/1997 "Methodology of measurement of airport noise"; "LDEN - Legislative Decree 19/08/20225 n° 194" and "LNIGHT - Legislative Decree 19/08/20225 n° 194", acoustic indicators derived from European Directive 2002/49/EC, transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree 194/2005, aimed at assessing the exposure of the population in the long term; "Aeronautical contribution daytime LAEQ", A-weighted equivalent continuous sound pressure level of an aerodrome nature, referring to the daytime period (06.00-22.00); "LAeq nocturnal aeronautical contribution", Continuous equivalent level of "A" weighted sound pressure of an airport nature, referring to the night period (00.00-06.00 and 22.00-24.00)From the overlapping of the isolevel curves of the acoustic indicators "LAeq diurnal aeronautical contribution", and "LAeq nocturnal aeronautical contribution" with the mosaic of the Acoustic Zoning Plans of the municipalities concerned (level displayed as "Acoustic Classes" extracted from the ARPA Geoportal service "Municipal Acoustic Classification Plans"), the following levels have been created and therefore can also be consulted: "Daytime LAeq exceedances - PZA areas - areas where airport "LAeq D" exceeds the absolute daytime intake level established by the municipal PZA; "Nocturnal LAeq Exceedances - PZA Areas" - areas in which the airport "LAeq N" exceeds the absolute nocturnal intake level established by the municipal PZA
