Harp Piemonte — Noise of the City of Turin
Description
The sound stations of the acoustic monitoring system and the Acoustic Classification Plan of the City of Turin are represented. In addition, the results of the noise mapping of road infrastructure pursuant to Law 447/95 and Legislative Decree No 194/05, carried out by Arpa Piemonte in 2007, on the basis of a specific agreement concluded with the City, are reported. In particular, the data reported represent the total noise produced by vehicles circulating along the roads of Turin (private vehicles and public transport), relative to the parameters L_day (noise level between 06 and 22 hours), L_night (noise level between 22:00 and 06), and L_den (weighted average of sound levels over 24 hours), evaluated at 4 m height above the ground. These parameters can be viewed as isophonic based on a grid of 5x5 m points.
