Piedmont harp – Map of susceptibility to landslide on Alcotra space (ADVITAM)
Description
The dataset makes available the results obtained as part of the project INTERREG ALCOTRA AD-VITAM (Analysis of the Vulnerability of the Mediterranean Alpine Territories to Natural Risks) regarding the analysis of susceptibility to landslide on a large scale. It was carried out by means of multi-variate statistical analysis of geomorphological, geological, climatic and anthropogenic factors deriving from geo-cartographic data, related to the Inventory of the Feast Phenomena in Italy (IFFI project). In particular, the following factors have been derived and analysed, the role of which in the triggering of landslides has been duly assessed: lithology, slope, exposure, altitude, accumulation, land use, distance from the road and rail network, climate aggression. The cartography produced is intended to give indications of which areas may be characterised by more or less marked landslide susceptibility, being characterised by factors with values statistically similar to those observed in the Inventory of Flow Phenomena (IFFI). The elaboration was carried out in the GIS GRASS environment by the DICCA research team expert in Geomatics and Geotechnics, with the support of thesis.
