Harp Piemonte — SIFraP — Frane Information System in Piedmont
Description
The dataset makes available the information extracted from SIFraP on landslides of various types. The SIFraP was born as an extension of the IFFI Project (Inventory of Fenomeni Franosi in Italy), carried out between 2002 and 2005, as well as as the development of the over twenty years of knowledge of the Regional Centre for Territorial and Geological Research in the field of landslides. SIFraP is managed by a group of technical officials within the Centre for Territorial and Geological Research of Arpa Piemonte and its objectives are essentially to integrate, develop and constantly update the database on the inventory of landslides in Piedmont and to make an increasing percentage of the above data available on the network via WebGIS service. The dataset consists of the following information levels: polygonal landslides, linear landslides, punctual landslides, surface landslides (polygonal and linear) and detection areas.
