Harp Piemonte — meteopluviometric event 26-28 April 2009
Description
The dataset presents the information on the processes and effects induced in the territory by the meteopluviometric event of 26-28 April 2009, detected by Arpa Piemonte in the days following the event or collected following reports from other bodies. The framework provided should be considered as non-exhaustive and non-homogenous: for many municipalities, in fact, the survey is still ongoing or has not yet been carried out on the date of publication of the service. The service also contains reports of phenomena prior to or after 26-28 April 2009. The event, in fact, was preceded by a period of prolonged rainfall and strong snowmaking that led to conditions of generalised saturation of the basins and the development of phenomena of failure already from the winter season.
