Harp Piemonte — Topographic — 1:50.000 Base
Description
Topographic base for the representation of geo-environmental themes in raster format on the 1:50,000 scale. The cartography was produced by Arpa Piemonte (Geographical Information System) in the period 2005-2010, with the aim of creating a topographic base on a regional scale useful for the representation and production of geothematic cartography of the Agency and in particular the sheets of the Geological Charter of Italy at ASCAL a1:50.000 of the CARG Programme. The final dataset realised in raster format was produced by Arpa Piemonte through a process of elaboration, integration, dressing of numerous vector levels extracted both from the CTR of the Piedmont Region (scales 1:10,000 and 1:50,000) and from other themes of the Agency’s Geographic Information System. The raster dataset is organised into 68 georeferenced images corresponding to the cutting of the sheets of the official cartography scale 1:50,000. The cartography in basic version consists of several levels of information (hydrography, traffic, built, altimetry, toponyomastica) on a transparent background (Background color RGB 254,254,254).
