Arpa Piemonte – 3R Weather – Real time snow
Description
Snow depth measurements recorded by the stations of the regional weather network managed by Arpa Piemonte and automatically validated, so they can be subject to error. The data is updated every 20 minutes with a delay of about one hour. In a high mountain environment, the nivometric stations add to the normal weather configuration, snow depth sensors and snow cover temperature. The nivological data collected in this way complement those collected by the manual nivometric network, providing indications relating to unmanned areas and of particular interest.
