Harp Piemonte — gemma — geodatabase Morfology Water courses in Piedmont
Description
the Gemma dataset, geodatabase Morfologia Corso d’Acqua, collects all the morphological information relating to the watercourses of the Piedmont region. Gemma was born as a working tool and as a support to the calculation of the IQM morphological quality indicator, an index that together with the index of alteration of the hydrological regime iari assesses the hydromorphological state of a water course as required by the Water Framework Directive 60/2000/CE WFD, transposed in Italy by Decree 260/2010 (technical criteria for the characterisation of water bodies). The service makes available some data extracted from the gem dataset.
