Protected areas and Natura 2000 network
Description
The dataset contains:
* the list includes all the protected natural areas, marine and terrestrial reported in the 6th update, approved by Resolution of the State-Regions Conference of 17 December 2009 and published in the Official Gazette No. 125 of 31.05.2010;
* the Natura 2000 network consisting of the Sites of Community Interest (SCIs), identified by the Member States in accordance with the Habitats Directive, which are subsequently designated as Special Areas of Conservation (SACs), and also includes the Special Protection Areas (SPAs) established pursuant to Directive 2009/147/EC "Birds" on the conservation of wild birds.
