Description
This working instruction (2nd edition) replaces the 1st edition of September 2017 and describes the conduct of gasification tests for replacement raw materials for use in cement production plants. An outgassing test is used to determine the content of volatile organic compounds released during the heating of a solid sample. The processes during the preheating of the raw flour in the cement plant in the laboratory are simulated. The results indicate the appropriate place of delivery of the substitute raw material and the specific emission in the exhaust gas. The results of the laboratory comparison test carried out in 2018 can be found in the Annex.
