The Annual Risk Analysis (ARA) 2013 is intended to facilitate and contribute to informed decisions on investments and concerted actions that are most likely to have sustainable effects on the management of the external borders and
ultimately on the internal security of the EU. The ARA conclusions and identified risks at the EU’s external borders are meant to help effectively balance and prioritise the allocation of resources.
