Aquaculture and Irrigation Water-Use Model (AIWUM) Version 1.1 Estimates and Related Datasets for the Mississippi Alluvial Plain
Description
This dataset contains a zipped file of 21 shapefiles that present the lands permitted to withdraw groundwater for aquaculture and irrigation use from the Mississippi River Valley Alluvial Aquifer in the Mississippi Delta each year from 1999 through 2019. These data were provided by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality and assessed by USGS to ensure values fell within reasonable ranges.
