Amphibian mapping in Ennstal in Gesäuse 2010
Description
As part of the LIFE — Gesäuse project, amphibian monitoring was carried out in the Gesäuse National Park (Steiermark). As early as 2007, amphibian fauna in the valley floor has been studied and a further mapping has now been carried out in 2010. This report not only documents the actual state of the amphibians in the Gesäuse, but also a comparison of the two years of investigation. It also gives an opinion on the management measures carried out so far, or suggestions for improvements and extensions thereof.
