Description
In this layer are inventoried all the crossings, streets, squares and other roads of the population centers surveyed.
Urban are those sections of roads that run on urban land, defining the crossings as the part of urban stretch in which there are consolidated buildings, at least two thirds of its length and a network of streets at least in one of the margins.
‘Other roads’ are defined as all public roads which, although outside the nucleus, give access to places such as slaughterhouses, cemeteries, sports centres, etc. And ‘Other roads’ also lead to pens, stables, etc., provided that they do not exceed the limits defined for the nucleus.
For the purpose of representation on the map, polygons are used for each section of road infrastructure with homogeneous data. These polygons have been themed according to the material used in the pavement of the road, and are labeled with the name of the street when a close zoom is made. You can see in the legend the different patterns and colors used for each type of road pavement.
The information collected for each road section register is as follows:
Name: Own name that designates and applies to road infrastructure.
-Type of road: The type of road is recorded for each Population Center according to the following options: Crossings; Streets and squares; Other roads
-Province INE code: Code of the province where the infrastructure is located.
-NEI code municipality: Code of the municipality where the infrastructure is located.
-NEI Entity Code: Code of the population entity where the infrastructure is located.
Core NSI code: Code of the population center where the infrastructure is located.
-State: The condition of the paving is indicated, for each homogeneous section, according to the following options and criteria: Well, Regular, Bad, Running and Unpaved. Criteria for assessing the condition of the paving. The road condition will be evaluated according to the importance of the following variables: Material losses in the form of potholes; Material loss on edges; Surface material losses; Firm alterations with the presence of softs, ripples or ruts, differential settlements greater than 2 cm.; Presence of cracks; Presence of loose elements. The GOOD rating will correspond to the tranche that is barely affected by the variables mentioned above, and does not need a major repair immediately. That of REGULAR, if the pathways are deteriorated by some of the aforementioned variables, and need a medium-term repair. The MAL pathway will be used when the pathway is heavily damaged by the aforementioned variables and requires immediate repair. EXECUTION, if any work is being executed. NOT PAVED, when it has no paving.
-Homes with deficit: The number of houses affected by the pavement deficit is quantified, each house is referenced by the entrance corresponding to the main facade, in case of having several accesses to different streets.
-Length: To calculate the length of the Squares, the major axis is taken. If circular, the diameter is indicated. The value is obtained from the polyline entity corresponding to the axis of the road infrastructure, and is expressed in meters.
Area: The value is obtained from the polygon entity and is expressed in square meters.
-Single platform: It is indicated whether or not the road infrastructure has a single platform between the vehicular route and the pedestrian route.
Firm material: Roadway paving completion material is indicated among the options: Bituminous mixture; Asphalt irrigation; Concrete; Cobblestone; Macadam; Zahorra stabilized; Land; Natural Stone; Other
Pedestrian pavement material: The pavement completion material of the sidewalks or pedestrian itineraries is indicated among the options: Cobblestone; Stoneware tile; Ceramic tile; Concrete hydraulic tile; Terrazzo tile; Natural stone granite; Natural stone marble; Natural stone slate and quartzite; Natural limestone; Natural basaltic stone; Land; Synthetic grass; Wooden pavement; Surface treatment of solera; Printed concrete; Others.
-Year of construction: Year in which the road infrastructure was implemented or completely reformed.
-Date of creation: Date of creation of the record.
-Date of amendment: Last date of modification of the registration (if any).
-Observation 1: Observation made.
-Observation 2: Observation made.
-Observation 3: Observation made.
Veracity of Information: The Ministry responsible for the publication of the EIEL reserves the right to make the modifications it deems appropriate without prior notice, being able to change, delete or add both the contents of the data shown and the services it provides and the way in which they are presented or located.
