Allegheny County Plumbing Inspections & Violations
Description
Inspections of Plumbing Project Plans by the Department of Health. This applies to any plumbing that is installed or altered. It includes replacement cards for the installation of water heaters and dishwasher transmittal sheets. Approximately 14,000 plans are filed, reviewed, and have permits issued by the Health Department annually. Previously, residents were required to submit a formal Right-to-Know request to the Office of Open Records for access to plumbing inspection and violations records. These records can now be downloaded and accessed without a request.
