Description
The series contains summary information on innovation procurement for which an Italian administration has the role of "procurer" or "proposer" of the needs. The scope of observation also includes cases in which the role of contracting authority is carried out by a non-Italian entity, as sometimes happens in projects co-financed by the European Commission. Each challenge identified within the cycle: needs, consultation or procurement, is classified with reference to the national thematic areas (S3), identified by the National Strategy of Intelligent Specialization (SNSI). The data set is the result of calculations carried out as a result of the monitoring of innovation challenges since 2013. The series is updated quarterly.
