Landscape elements of the Geographical Information System for Agricultural Parcels (SIGPAC - SPAIN)
Description
The landscape elements (EEPP) are regulated by Royal Decree 1049/2022 of 27 December establishing the rules for the application of enhanced conditionality and social conditionality. The aforementioned Royal Decree in Annex II defines as topographical features or elements of the landscape those characteristics of the land such as hedges, isolated trees, in rows and in groups, borders, ponds, lagoons, ponds and natural watersheds, islands and enclaves of natural vegetation or rock, retaining terraces and, when determined by the autonomous community, small buildings such as dry stone muretes, old pigeons or other elements of traditional architecture that may serve as a shelter for flora and fauna, except for those buildings that could pose a health risk to the livestock herd or to the wild fauna.
In addition, landscape elements are listed as High Value Data Set, in accordance with Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/138.
