Description
Updated layer of Geoparks in Andalusia. Declared by UNESCO, they represent a territory with a particular geological wealth and a sustainable territorial development strategy supported by a European programme to promote development. Andalusia has three Geoparks: Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park (June 2001), Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park (July 2006) and Sierra Norte Natural Park (September 2011).
