The Flood Risk Management Directive (HWRM-RL) 2. Cycle 2016-2021 identified potentially affected World Heritage Sites for flood loads HQ Frequently, HQ100, HQextrem. Cycle 2016-2021 of the HWRM-RL.World Heritage is a designation for monuments, ensembles and sites (World Heritage Sites) as well as natural structures, geological and physiographic manifestations and natural sites (World Heritage Sites) of extraordinary universal value, whose collection, protection and conservation are supported by UNESCO under the so-called “World Heritage Convention”.World Heritage Sites in Lower Saxony can be found in Hildesheim, Alfeld, Goslar and the Harz and Wadden Sea.
