Areas with Concentration of Accidents 2022

Description

Accident Concentration Areas (ACZs) have been identified based on the location of road accidents with injuries and/or deaths occurring in 2020-2021. A specifically parameterized clustering algorithm was applied to the geographical coordinates of the accidents, then a threshold of 10 accidents over a period of 2 years was chosen. The implementation of this procedure led, in 2022, to the identification of 54 accident concentration zones (ACZs) on regional and municipal roads.
