Health Canada has notified Renaissance BioScience Corporation that it has no objection to the food use of acrylamide-reducing baker's yeast, RBSC AR. The Department conducted a comprehensive assessment of this baker's yeast according to its Guidelines for the Safety Assessment of Novel Foods.
