Interim Environment Regulation, Designated Area for Level Decision
Description
The level decision shall include water levels or ranges within which water levels may vary under normal conditions. A level decision indicates to the residents/users of an area that have different interests (such as dry feet, nature, agriculture, prevent setting, dry crawl space) at which level is maintained. An interested party then knows where he or she can make use of it.
The obligation to adopt a level decision is imposed in the Interim Environment Regulation only for those areas where under normal conditions the water board is able to control water supply and drainage. These areas are recorded in this file. The exact limit is determined by the water board when the level decision is adopted. The water board has the obligation to maintain the water levels indicated in the level decision.
