Raw material geology - RSG: Suggested areas for presentation as raw material securing areas in the Regional Spatial Planning Plans
Description
Country-wide, constantly updated data set proposals for raw material securing areas. Digitalization basics were maps of various scales from 1:50,000 to 1:1,000 and own terrain findings as well as interpretations. The purpose of the data set is to provide spatial planners with a raw material geological basis for drawing up regional spatial plans. It is subdivided into categories 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 2, 3.:Proposal areas for the presentation as raw material securing areas in the regional spatial plans, based on the forecast raw material map (as of 1982) and surveys of the LGB in the years 1995-2010. Categories 1, 2 and 3 were proposed by the LGB to the planning communities as potential priority and reserve areas for inclusion in the regional spatial plans. For better understanding, the category of potential focus areas has been further differentiated, but a rating or grading is not associated with this categorization: 1a: Raw material is mined in the area (proven building quality) 1b: Raw material is mined at least in a sub-area of the area (demonstrated building quality) and for the rest of the area there is a deposit analysis or similar or similar deposit analysis conditions are to be expected with an almost certain probability 1c: Raw material is not yet mined, but there is a detailed analysis of the deposits, which proves a building value 1d: Raw material deposits with special characteristics, in particular uniqueness / rarity with national or national significance, the only deposit of a certain raw material in a wide area, possible use for historic preservation purposes (natural stone). In addition, it is possible to cover areas for which there is no direct detailed deposit analysis, but for which there are justifiable indications of excellent quality from the precise knowledge of neighbouring deposits. 2: Raw material is not yet mined on the area, but on the basis of geological findings, a potential building value can be assumed 3: These specialist planning areas have the quality characteristics of potential priority areas of category 1. However, according to current raw material geological assessment, it is reasonable to exclude extraction activity in the next 10 years following the approval of the plan. These areas correspond to the desire for spatial planning as priority areas for the protection of deposits.
