ATKIS image-based digital surface model 20cm

Description

As a result of the annual commissioned flights of the state of Baden-Württemberg, the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Development receives aerial images, the basis for the production of image-based digital surface models. Image-based digital surface models (bDOM) depict the earth's surface and the objects on it at the time of taking the aerial images, such as vegetation, buildings, stationary and flowing traffic. A regular grid is generated from the correlation of oriented aerial images and the modelling of the resulting point clouds. Due to the procedure, the bDOM may contain gaps and outliers. The colour coding of the individual points of the bDOM is done from the underlying aerial images. It forms the height basis for the calculation of the TrueDOP. The bDOM combines the realistic representation of the TrueDOP and altitude information in one data set. Circumference of coordinates : 3D units of horizontal and vertical coordinates in meters. Ground resolution 20 cm, annual aerial flight approx. 50 % of the land area, area classification corresponds to the area classification of the TrueDOP. Unclassified point information. Number of channels : 4, RGBI
