3D-models of loose rock in Lower Saxony - Schwindequelle
Description
Based on the data from the Lower Saxony drilling database, a hydrogeological 3D model of the surroundings of the Schwindequelle was created at the State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology (LBEG). In total, the model depicts the subsurface up to the quaternary base in 9 geological units. The sequence of layers includes the deposits of the Elster, Saale and Vistula periods up to the most recent deposits of the Holocene.
