Description
Overview map of the spatial distribution of dissolved manganese concentrations in the groundwater of Lower Saxony. The map shows the area-by-area analysis of 1540 groundwater analyses from depths of 20-50 m below the surface of the terrain. The color-graded overview map shows only the spatial distribution of the measured manganese concentrations and does not take into account any influences of the geological structures and properties of the subsurface. For the creation of the map, the interpolation method of the inverse distance weighting was used.
