High-tech companies - the impact of organizational culture and social networks on knowledge transfer

The research examines the link between organisational culture, social capital and knowledge transfer in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises. high-tech companies. Based on assumptions and starting points, which were thoroughly discussed within the program group and the basic project, it was prepared a semi-structured interview questionnaire with eleven interviews with representatives of eleven small and medium-sized high-tech enterprises (SMEs). The research is based on two hypotheses. The first states that there are differences in the perception of respondents in terms of organisational structure and organisational (business) culture. between VTP and other companies. The second one says that VTPs have more contacts with academic institutions than with other companies. The questionnaire consists of six thematic sections: significance R&D activities (RRD) and perception of the company, networking or type of networks and knowledge transfer, epistemological community, internal organization of work and organizational culture, integration of new members and assessment of business performance. Other (secondary) data sources, both domestic and international, are also used in the survey.
