Description

The first chapter of the questionnaire is the Slovenian translation of the international questionnaire ISSP92. It begins with the assessment of the factors of progression in life. It includes views on social differences, when they are justified, or whether they need to be reduced. Respondents assess what the actual income of the selected professionals is and what it would be eligible for. They assess various forms of taxation, state interference in the regulation of inequalities. A self-assessment of one's own social position is given, as well as data on social origin and social mobility. The social prestige of individual professions is assessed. The second part repeats the research of the New Democracies Barometer (NDB). This includes a block of questions on the assessment of individual economic power, shopping intentions, sources of earnings, livelihoods, and the general assessment of the economic situation in the country, as well as the material situation of the household. This is followed by assessments of the political situation and problems, the protest potential and the likelihood of an outbreak of conflict.
