Description

In a survey of Slovenian public opinion in 1969, the researchers repeated some of the topics from the survey a year ago. Again, a set of questions on religion were included in the survey: the degree of faith and frequency of religious observance, faith in the afterlife, the role of the Church in society. There is a question about the media and information. The novelty of the media strand are questions about the follow-up of advertisements. Respondents are asked where and when they see advertising and whether it influences their purchasing decisions. A special, rather extensive section was devoted to the current problems of farmers and agriculture. As part of the questions aimed at attitudes towards the living environment, respondents choose between nature conservation and economic development. Respondents assessed the causes of student unrest in Slovenia and proposed the most appropriate measures to reduce the scope of criminal offences. The questionnaire also contains some questions regarding the assessment of the defence readiness and correctness of Yugoslav foreign policy. The section on health and health contains topical questions about the quality of services provided by health institutions and measures to regulate the situation of older people, abortion and contraception. Demographic questions complete the questionnaire.
