Slovenian public opinion 2005/2
Description
The survey is part of a pan-European project aimed at recording social changes over time. The research focuses mainly on the issues of national and international security. The questionnaire consists of six sections. In the first, we find questions about security threats. The second block is devoted to security culture and includes, among other things, questions about behavior in the event of armed aggression, a school subject of civic education and justifiable reasons for the use of military force. The following section raises questions about the security system of the Republic of Slovenia, the role in maintaining sovereignty and independence, the tasks of the military and participation in international operations. The fourth part of the questionnaire is dedicated to security integrations in Europe. Respondents first assess their trust in certain international institutions and their attitude towards EU and NATO membership. Then there are questions about the relationship to the military profession. This is followed by a large demographic block, which is completed by questions with which respondents assess their personalities.
