Slovenian public opinion 2004/1
Description
The European Electoral Survey seeks to identify how citizens are changing with changes in the political system and political institutions within the European Union, particularly as it expands. The survey carried out in 2004 included topics such as the enlargement of the Union, the introduction of monetary union, institutional reforms in each Member State, the increasing emphasis on the common foreign and defence policy, and the proposal for a new EU constitutional treaty. The thematic module of this research covered problems related to the legitimacy and democracy of the EU institutions.
