Attitude to vaccination against SARS-CoV-2, 2020

In December 2020, the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine was first authorised in the Western world, but the effectiveness of national vaccination plans depends on the willingness of the population to be vaccinated. Previous research
Vaccine hesitancy has been demonstrated by a variety of factors that influence vaccination decisions, such as gender, age, education, socio-economic status, occupation, experience with vaccination, experience with the disease and trust in professionals.
To better understand the attitude towards COVID-19 vaccination, a survey was carried out on a probabilistic sample of members of the JazVem survey panel, which is representative of the Slovenian population and in which 516 panel members participated.
The questionnaire was also used in a survey on a large online non-probability sample conducted by students of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Maribor (ADP - IDNo: SARSPR20). The data file, which is available in addition to the questions from this survey, also includes other
content sets of questions (housing conditions, employment, household and income, purchasing and using fuel, internet and lifestyle, elections, smoking) that were part of individual panel surveys in the course of 2020, with questionnaires
not available. The file is accessible under special conditions, i.e. on request, in two versions: as Scientific use file (SUF - partially anonymized and available only for research purposes) and Secure use file (SCUF - non-anonymized,
available only for scientific research and accessible to registered researchers). In addition, a file with answers to two open questions is available in two versions, namely as a public use file (PUF - anonymized and offline).
