The research is based on the use of
The concept of a "policy network". The concept is used in the following
Areas of Empirical Research: a) in the study of
development of the interest-group system and its operation in the process
democratic transition; (b)in the analysis of the internal structure; and
the characteristics of the relationships entered into by the interest groups; and
political decision-makers in the process of designing and implementing public
policies; c) when studying lobbying methods and strategies; d) at
Exploring the relationship between central and local government in the process
policy-making; e) to monitor changes in the relationship between
(co)designers of public policies; f) analysis of the link between international integration
Interest groups and their influence in the Slovenian political sphere
decision-making; g) analysis of the interrelationship between the practice of policy networks; and
efficiency of the economic system and h) in the development of policy advice
governmental and non-governmental actors.
