Open data

Description

As part of the Open Data project, an overview of the state of research data care in Slovenia was prepared. Problems, procedures and solutions at different stages of the life cycle of creating, evaluating, storing, publishing and using research data have been identified. In drawing up the national plan and conclusions in this area, the experience and specifics of different actors at different institutions were used. The research related to the different phases of research data and the actors present. To this end, 22 interviews were conducted with Slovenian experts from various scientific fields, who are data creators, administrators or users, and the interest was focused on what the potentials are in the future. In addition to determining the situation in Slovenia, one of the fundamental objectives of the first phase of the Open Data project was an attempt to identify the attachments of a future, more elaborate system of access to research data.
