Students and Modern Society

Description

The international research, an out-of-school study initiated by the Internation Social Sience Council, covers questions about the student's role in contemporary society. Researchers are interested in how students in different countries define their role in society, what social values are important to them and what determines the first and second. The questions relate to monitoring the mass media and attending events, students' membership of various bodies, employment abroad after completing their studies, and employment opportunities in general. The survey also includes questions about student movements around the world and in Slovenia, political affiliation, the social system and the position of social groups in today's society.
