Sociological aspects of the migration of Slovenian workers to the Federal Republic of Germany
Description
The project of sociological study of migrations of Slovenians in Germany included a survey of the Homeless in 1974, pairs of Slovenian citizens who did not migrate to Germany and groups of returnees to their homeland in 1976. In the first phase of the research, the researchers gathered about the reasons for going abroad, possible advancement in their profession and education, language skills, how much emigrants in Germany earn and where they plan to invest the saved money, how they assess the specific factors of migration attraction and pushback, whether they plan to return to their homeland, what their housing and family conditions are and what they were before departure.
