7 EU VET — Research on vocational education in seven European countries

Description

Project 7EU — VET — Detailed Methodological Approach to Understanding the VET Education is a research study of vocational education based on theoretical basis and secondary analysis of existing documents. It also relies on existing national and EU data. The project is based on one of the objectives of the Lisbon Strategy, which is the promotion and quality of vocational education. The project answers the following scientific and research questions: Are education systems flexible enough to respond quickly to changes in needs? How efficient and effective are the systems (counselling and information) and can we create a successful model that could be implemented between countries? What is the perception of young people about vocational education and their views on future prospects, careers and mobility? How is ICT involved in the education of students? It is helpful to use the data of 17-18 year-old students for a menatorial comparison.
