Description

This Eurobarometer survey performance differs from the standard Eurobarometer indicators. Respondents answer questions within the following main topics: e-communication, agriculture, geographical and labour mobility and knowledge of antibiotic use. The first set of questions asks respondents about the way and frequency of e-mailing in the household, whether they own a fixed or mobile phone, how they access the Internet in the household, how they use social networks and about the confidentiality of data on the Internet. The agriculture section asks about the importance and knowledge of agriculture, agricultural policy, the role of the European Union in agriculture and the link between agriculture and climate change. Respondents then give an opinion on moving abroad if they have themselves moved for education or work, in which countries they would like to work, how long and why they would like to work. They also provide opinions on pensions and post-retirement health care. In the last set of questions, the respondents answer the questions: whether antibiotics have been used in the last year indicate the reason for their use and their knowledge of the use of antibiotics. The demographic strand includes questions about the respondent’s age, gender, citizenship, occupation, marital status, education, household size, financial situation, social situation, Internet use, type and size of settlement and region of residence.
