Cross-border socio-cultural integration of residents of border municipalities, 2015

Description

Within the ARRS programme group "Areas of cultural contact in integration processes", opinion polls were carried out in four border areas telephone surveys to determine how the population of Slovenian border municipalities assesses the development of cross-border connectivity with neighbouring cross-border areas in the period after independence of Slovenia, what is the intensity and typology of local cross-border ties, how respondents assess further development trends after Slovenia's accession to the Schengen the area and how they evaluate the role of Slovenian minorities in neighbouring countries in increasing cross-border social integration and consolidating the common Slovenian cultural space in the context of European integration. A version of the file (SUF) containing the variable place of residence (open question) is also available upon request and is intended for research purposes only.
