State drilling database Saxony-Anhalt
Description
The state drilling database has largely emerged from the encryption of analogue drilling data from the state drilling archive into digital data. It forms the basic component of the Soil Information System-Saxony-Anhalt (SABIS). The drilling database describes localising, technical, organizational, layer and sample data of geological outages. The structure of the database is based on the digestion type SEP3 developed in the LBEG as an interface for the digital exchange of drilling data. Descriptions of the layers and documentation of the holes are stored in the database according to “symbol key geology” (LBEG, 2015).
An online research for holes contained in the state drilling database is possible via an Internet map server application. The details of publicly available holes can be viewed via a profile display.
