Addressing Staffing Challenges
Description
This dataset details the challenges that OPLA has had as a relatively small agency with a complex mission and growing workload and finite resources. Since 2018, the growth of OPLA’s workforce has lagged compared to EOIR’s rapidly expanding immigration court system, and this widening gap has contributed to case backlogs, staff burnout and resources drained from other initiatives.
