Water bodies of transition
Description
Surface water bodies partly of a saline nature due to their proximity to coastal waters, but substantially affected by fresh water flows. In the case of the Po river basin they consist of both the terminal part of the deltizi branches of Po, and the valleys and lagoons of the delta.
